RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) Milan Acquaah scored 24 points and De'Jon Davis added a double-double and California Baptist beat Utah Valley 73-66 on Wednesday.
Davis scored 21 points with 16 rebounds, Brandon Boyd scored 13 and eight Lancers (20-8, 9-4 Western Athletic Conference) entered the scoring column.
TJ Washington scored 14 for Utah Valley (11-18, 5-9). Brandon Averette and Trey Woodbury scored 13 apiece and Isaiah White 10.
Woodbury's 3-pointer with 5:31 left put the Wolverines up 55-49 before the Lancers responded with a 12-2 run over the next three minutes and they led for the remainder. California Baptist made all 10 of its foul shots in the final 48 seconds to preserve the win. The Lancers finished 16 of 18 overall from the foul line.
