LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) Troy Green had a career-high 25 points as New Orleans narrowly beat McNeese State 82-77 on Saturday. Bryson Robinson added 21 points for the Privateers.
Lamont Berzat had seven rebounds for New Orleans (8-18, 4-12 Southland Conference). Gerrale Gates added eight rebounds and six assists.
Sha'markus Kennedy had 22 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Cowboys (12-15, 7-9), whose losing streak reached six games. Dru Kuxhausen added 12 points. Myles Hutchinson had 12 points.
