MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) Dantez Walton had 18 points as Northern Kentucky narrowly defeated Ball State 59-57 on Wednesday night.
Trevon Faulkner had 17 points and six rebounds for Northern Kentucky (4-1). Tyler Sharpe added 10 points.
Faulkner and Adham Eleeda made four free throws in the final 40 seconds to help Northern Kentucky, which has won three straight games, hold off the Cardinals.
Northern Kentucky takes on Texas Southern at home on Saturday. Ball St. takes on Howard at home on Saturday.
